We sell two things: light, and the soft layer that goes around it.
The light came first. Most homes are lit the way an office is lit — one fixture in the middle of the ceiling, switched on at dusk, doing all the work. It flattens a room. The fix isn't expensive: a pair of sconces at eye level, something low and warm in the corner, a strip inside the cupboard where the wiring never reached. Three sources instead of one, and the same room reads completely differently.
So the shop leads with wall lights, ceiling fixtures, cabinet and task lighting, and weather-rated pieces for outside. Alongside them sit the things that catch that light and hold it — throws, cushion covers, curtains, a rug, a pair of ceramic vases — and a small seasonal corner that changes through the year.
How we choose
Three questions, every time. Does the light behave? Would it survive being lived with? Does it earn the space it takes up?
We're a shop, not a factory or a workshop. We don't cast the metal or throw the ceramics, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we do is read the specs, pick the things that are honestly good for the money, and put the numbers on the page so you can judge for yourself.
What we put on a product page
Wattage. Fitting type — E27, GU10, integrated LED. IP rating for anything that goes outdoors or near water. Dimensions in inches. Power source, where it matters: hard-wired, plug-in, or rechargeable battery.
If we don't know something, it isn't on the page. We'd rather leave a gap than invent a detail.
Prices
Most of the shop sits between $25 and $120, with a few pieces up to $175. Free delivery over $100. Nothing here needs a freight truck or a delivery appointment — it all ships by parcel.
